Borusan EnBW Energy is Continuing its Wind Power Investments

Borusan EnBW Energy who targets to become a leader in Türkiye’s wind power energy sector made the opening ceremony of its Karacabey Harmanlık Wind Power Plant which is located in Bursa. Governor of Bursa, Münir Karaloğlu and other senior public officers attended to the ceremony as well as high level managers of Borusan EnBW Energy’s 50 % shareholder, EnBW, from Germany. Executive Committee Members of Borusan Holding, Mehmet Betil and Erkan Kafadar, also attended the ceremony. 

Borusan EnBW Energy’s General Manager Mehmet Acarla gave detailed information about Harmanlık WPP and he pointed consisted steps Borusan EnBW Energy takes in line with its targets. 

“Harmanlık WPP is Türkiye’s 204th and Bursa’s 8th largest energy power plant with its 52,8 MWh/a installed capacity. 16 Vestas wind turbines are used in Harmanlık WPP. With its approximately 153 GWh production of electricity each year, Harmanlık WPP will meet 49,130 dwellings’ daily life electricity need. Koru WPP, Mut WPP, increase of capacity in Bandırma WPP and Harmanlık WPP which we engaged will raise our installed capacity to 188 MW.”
